ohhh thank you thank you!
It's just asking you what, according to you, are the two biggest impacts of American expansion of domestic (or cultural) influence and political (or militaristic) influence in where (could be within the US, the world, or wherever - the question didn't specify, so that's up to you to answer). The nice thing about this question is that you can't possibly get it wrong so long as you properly explain yourself. Think about American cultural expansion, particularly after WWII. What were its implications on the rest of the world? Could it be something effecting the way foreigners view the United States? Could it be something such as the spread of materialism? The implications, of course, can be something that occurs well after the 1930 - 1960 time frame the question gives, but you need to refer to the fact that the cultural expansion began sometime between 1930 - 1960. As far as political expansion goes, think about the US's influence abroad. After its victory in WWII, the US began taking a much more active role in world affairs. Think about the consequences of that, particularly in a region such as the Middle East (and how that has culminated into the conflicts we have there today) or the US's conflict with the USSR, culminating in the Cold War.
