Be warned you need all A's at A level and lots of extra currics for Architecture. Cardiff (which according to the Times Good University Guide is the top place for architecture) says this for Architectural Studies (BSc/MArch) (a three year programme): Entry Requirements Three A-levels or equivalent. A good academic base is required, preferably indicating a balance of skills in visual arts, sciences, writing and research. General Studies, Critical Thinking and PE are not accepted. All candidates are asked to submit a small portfolio of four A4 size sheets showing art and design work to Mary Brice, Admissions Secretary, as part of their application. Alternative grades and qualifications are acceptable with an outstanding portfolio. http://courses.cardiff.ac.uk/undergraduate/course/detail/1.html So it sounds like there aren't any particular A-Levels you have to do... but a mix of subjects might be best. From what I read art may be a good idea. It may be worth emailing an admissions adviser at a university offering the course you wish to study and asking them what they advise. Maybe the Cardiff one doesn't lead to being registered as an architect? =/ Bath's architecture courses are seven years... Aaa... Cardiff does say "It also leads to entry to the two year MArch scheme of study and eventual qualification for the profession of architecture." Sounds like the course I found is only part of what you need to do to be a registered architect. This site seems to back that up... the five year degree programme is divided into two parts. The Cardiff course is the first part.
