this is my opinion on religion i just wrote this now before bed what do you think.. you probobly havent heard this theory before ignoring my spelling mistakes as i've been up all night reading the bible again etc and this is my conclusion: I believe religion is a conspiracy designed to fool evil people. People with a strong good will and spirit don't need a 'book' to live by, they don't need a 'preacher.' If you notice, it's only evil people who state they 'hear voices'. I believe God and Satan are the same, as one, but only imaginery, they excist in the mind. As a species we have been fooled into believing Satan is a 'seperate' being, when in actual fact, God is satan, and satan is God. Jesus was not just the Son of God, he was the Son of Satan. God is Satan, since religion was created people who are 'easily' led believed it, and it's those people that God/Satan deem to punish since they are 'easily led', and it's 'easily led' people that cause problems. (Read up about how Hitler fooled people in ww2 via propoganda, he pretended he was the 'one to save people from problems', when he was the opposite, that's God/satan) Why do people support God/satan? Because they want an after life. Therefore religious people are 'selfish' and 'greedy' since they cannot settle with ONE life, instead they need an 'ETERNITY of life' (God/satan labels it 'afterlife'). God/satan is basically blackmailing evil/narrowminded people by saying worship me, and you'll get an ETERNITY of wealth (i.e life) The reality is GOOD people settle with one single life of free will, evil people want more, it's called 'GREED'. You want more money.. more life.. But by worshipping God/satan (they are the same being) you are SELLING Yourself to a contract, a contract which you've NEVER Seen. Hell isn't flames, it's serving a being who mis-guided you, who fooled you, since you were dumb enough to sign a contract in the blood of your soul. Hell is being on your knees for eternity, because you couldn't settle with one life, you had to try and obtain an eternal life. I said earlier that God and Satan are actually not a pyshical being but a part of the mind. This religion was created by 'greed', greed for MORE life since people couldn't settle with one life. When you die.. People who don't support religion after death have a 'clear consciounse' a clear mind, therefore they may REST IN PEACE! There mind shuts down and they are in peace. When your old and near death you want this since your in so much pain.. you just want to RIP! // however.. People who do support religion after death can never relax since they spent life programming themselves for an eternity of work. That's real hell. You cannot rest in peace, your mind programmed your soul to NEVER relax. To see what hell is like, try not sleeping for a week, now imagine being adgitated, and never sleeping that for eternity!

I am not a greedy person i don't need an eternity of after life thank you very much, i dont use a 'superior being' to get what i want. I don't need a 'sugar daddy God' im fine with my ONE life im not greedy, so least im going to rest in peace when i die.. free.

I totally agree. The only real reason people are religous is because they want an afterlife and because of fear of Satan. Yep Christians are pretty weak minded when you think about it.

I agree. The funny thing is, Christians by following God are fooled since Satan IS God in disguise! They just sold there souls to satan, i.e.. posing as God because they are greedy and need an 'after life'. Sorry religious people but Satan doesn't have red skin and horns.. evil people actually look peaceful, they have a good way of hiding it! FACT: Evil people EASILY can fool and mis guide many followers, just look at Hitler. He misguided millions to there DEATHS and they thought he was amazing like religious people think God is amazing. Cant they settle with one life? I HATE Greedy people! I mean.. come on,. an ETERNITY of after life? How Greedy can people get.. thats like me getting on my knees and woshipping a God for an 'ETERNITY OF GOLD'. etc

Maybe thats it now days, but before we knew how things worked, when a sickness that man couldn't cure, or a earthquake happened maybe people just wanted something to explain why. God was (still is i guess) like the perfect comfort food for people it doesn't matter if he/she/it really exists. The people that believe make god real.

I agree. Now that were in the 21st century most things can be explained bu science. But people need to make themselves believe in a god anyway. Even if we had proof that God doesn't exist [and we pretty nuch do already] People are going to force themselves to believe in that nonsense anyway because they are weak minded

But my point is.. what are people doing to there minds by worshipping such a 'God'? If our minds are linked to our souls, and it's our soul that gets released after death, then there souls will never be in peace since they will be worshipping for eternity. That in my opinion is hell. For non religious people, Peace is when you die, not having to worship, but RIP instead. I suppose religious people must want a religion since they maybe like the idea of never resting in peace, therefore, they want to be in some 'fantastic magical land' called heaven. Nothing is ever as amazing as it may seem. Havent religious people ever heard the term 'The grass is never greener on the other side?'. What you READ is different to what MAY be lurking! ..REMEMBER THAT! By supporting God you may be bisguided into believing it's good for you since you#re greedy when in actual fact its evil trying to manipulate you using greed for eternal life. Its like the holy grail.. who wants eternal life? By drinking from the holy grail, by becoming religious.. your automatically drinking from the holy grain for eternal life. Your only excuse is 'greed'.

If GOD was real.. he would want you to enjoy one life, and be it merely one life, then not have an eternity of after life.

History have proven that christians are greedy. Example: the crusades for the holy land. So it does not surprise me that they want an ETERNITY of an afterlife
-- Posted by answimmer at 11:05 pm on June 26, 2008
Yeah but i know people who are religious that aren't greedy. They believe because they were taught to. I mean Catholics aren't all about the after life, they are more about this life; doing what is right. True some regions like Mormonism focus on reaching that level of heaven where life continues beyond death, but not all religious people just want the after life.

I do see what you are saying but if there was no afterlife promised i doubt anyone would be catholic or even christian for that matter

1: Christianity =/=Religion 2: Biblegod=/=God 3: Who're you to say what God would want for us? edit: 4: How do you come to the conclusion that God is Satan in disguise and that only evil people hear voices?

Terrible theology. Asinine viewpoint. And just an all-around pretentious child incapable of thought apart from your limited viewpoint of religious significance.

I'm Christian and I am not the least bit weak-minded. (to whoever wrote that statement) As a matter of fact, I'm catholic (gasp!) and guess what! I never go to church, I usualy don't read the bible, and I don't try to "convert" people to my religion. Religion is a personal thing, and people chose to "worship" in many different ways because that's what they think is right for them. Personally, I just try to live my life being as good a person as I can be, and I definately am not good all the time. As for the God and Satan are the same thing..ehhh..don't think so. I think they are both "enitities" amongst themselves, ones good ones evil, and neither can exist without each other. Normally, I don't ever discuss religion but I just kinda think it's sad that most people believe that everybody who believes in god must believe in the exact same way, like everybody came from the same mold or something, which really isn't the case. Religion is something that if you're going to "dive" into it you need to be very open-minded and don't be so nieve as to believe everything you hear. Things are frequently taken out of context and Religion is one of those things.

wait... I'm confused. By saying that without reigion your soul can rest in peace and with it you will suffer a hell AFTER life, aren't you beleiving in an afterlife and therefore in religion which you aim to disprove?

Albert Einstein A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death. ^ This is my stance on general religion in a very large, all-consuming nutshell. \/ This is a little closer to what I believe. The individual feels the futility of human desires and aims and the sublimity and marvelous order which reveal themselves both in nature and in the world of thought. Individual existence impresses him as a sort of prison and he wants to experience the universe as a single significant whole. The beginnings of cosmic religious feeling already appear at an early stage of development, e.g., in many of the Psalms of David and in some of the Prophets. Buddhism, as we have learned especially from the wonderful writings of Schopenhauer, contains a much stronger element of this.
