i just wouldn't cut and this isn't supposed to be offensive but there is alot of other ways to deal with how you feel without cutting or drugs or alchohol however you spell it lol

I dont think there is much that can be said. You can start by telling them that you arent emo, and not every person who self mutilate are emo, they have problems which can be addressed and ones that require assistance not namecalling, and advice not lectures. Try to make them see your side of things and maybe they can be recruited to be by your side, or perhaps better you can just tell them that it was a one time thing and seek help elsewhere. Either way you go, educating them is a good goal, not everyone is as understanding, or as patient but, if you dont try you'll never succeed.
