-- Posted by Explosion990 at 6:09 pm on June 29, 2008 Hey, im gonna be entering my senior year this year, and I would really love to experience the thrill of varsity football, but I havnt played at the high school level at all. I played football from 1st to 8th grade, but due to different conflicts i couldnt play in high school. I was thinking about asking the coach this week (they open the weight room over the summer) if i could join the team. I know that chances are I wont get to play and it wouldnt really be fair to the kids who have been in it all throughout highschool, but can the coach legally deny me entrance into the team? I am a very timid person social wise, and if i know that there is a chance of me getting rejected in any form or fashion, i just wont do it, so be honest with me.. The worst that can happen is that you don't get to play, but at least you tried.
