I'm on the wait list at my top choice school - Elon University and they've persistently claimed that everyone would receive word by the last week in June. Well, tomorrow's July 1 and I've yet to hear anything from them. I've sent them numerous e-mails with more questions and comments and expressing my interest in attending the school but to no avail - I keep getting responses telling me that they understand and that there's no new information that they can provide; that I'll know by the last week in June. I don't know. I guess I'm just frustrated and tired of waiting. Is anyone else on a wait list?

I was waitllisted and told to wait about a month for a reply. I ended up waiting and heard nothing from the school again so i moved on and took up the offer to attend one of the other schools on my list. This school offered me a lot more financial aid than the one that waitlisted me. A month later that school accepted me, but it was too late. They said i'd have to wait one month, not two. So my advice to you, just move on. Pick another school.

put your mindset on moving on to another school, but don't stop trying until the conclusively say no. it's hard for them when you have 2 spots and 100 waitlisted, for example.
