My boyfriend and I have been having sex for  over a year.  he's always on top. But he wants me on top so the odd time I try it hurts like a bitch. I can't even explain it. and this in turn it is actually putting strain on our relationship he's always complaining about it but I wont go on top cuz it hurts to much and its just not a good situation. So I was talking to my friend about it ( weird eh) and he said that maybe I didn't "pop my cherry" (hymen. or however its spelt) I don't think that is possible because we have been having sex for so long and what not Also is there anyway for me to be on top without it hurting. I find that if I sit up straight (back straight) with my boyfriend with myself on top that it hurts, but if I lean forward it goes less deep and is more comfortable. Try leaning forward, almost as if laying on top of him once he penetrates, you may find it more comfortable. If it's painful even then, then I'm not sure what to tell you.
