Firefox has been faster in my experience.

Hmm there are speed differences. Firefox is clearly faster than I.E. on my computer. Although I have found no noticeable difference between Firefox and Safari. IE also sucks big time at blocking popups.

the biggest difference is obviously the interface. Then there's the way that they render websites. IE 6 and below never followed web standards.. I don't know about 7 because I got a Mac and never cared again.. The others follow the web standards.. The differences are pretty much customization and options.
