If you have already donated 12 bucks, and you want to remain a sustainer, can you donate for someone else and still be one?

Only if you want to waste your money.

Yeah but not your own money.

Yes.

Nope. Sorry. It has to be toward your account in order to receive it. Pretty sure anyway...

donating for somebody else does not affect you in any way at all except for the fact that you lose your money. edit: when making a fresh donation, that is. transferring current donations does not affect you in any way at all except for taking credited money from you, taking the points associated with that money away from you, and charging you fees.

As in a transfer donation? As long as you have twelve dollars remaining in your account you can donate whatever you have extra and while remaining a sustainer.

Your sustained status only is effected by money going in to your account. If you donate money to the site, the sustained status will go to whichever member's name it was associated with.

What? Okay, here's what is going on. I am now a Sustainer, but my status leaves me on the 13 if I don't donate before then. I want to remain a sustainer, and I'm gonna donate, but what I'm asking is that if I donate on someone else's account, does that take care of the donation that I have to make?

so you're asking whether two people get benefits out of one donation?
