I noticed that too, lol. I think I'll apply, why not, my grammar and spelling are amazing anyway.

i'd totally be down to do this i have a cute little emoticon when people use incorrect grammar or spelling and yes, i don't always spell things correctly, but that's typically for irony, not unintentionally.

For all those who think that being Dictionary Manager is going to be too much work, you are mistaken. It is probably the easiest job out of all of the Manager positions. The only time it was 'too much work' for me, was when the Members Checklist came in and everyone had to define a word int he Dictionary. Trust me, it's a good position to have and I'm gonna miss it. Good luck to who ever gets the new position :)

I've applied. Yay!

I am under the assumption moderators cannot apply, as usual for these managment positions.

It does sound like too much work...

There is way too much to do just to apply, it's more work applying than the actual job...
-- Posted by sexyboy13 at 6:38 pm on July 3, 2008
I don't think we'll have another dictionary manager quite like Cara.

It's not that hard. You pretty much just tell Erick that you're interested in the position, why you want to be the manager, give some ideas on improvements/new definitions/ideas, and maybe some background information such as how long you've been here, how many definitions you've added, etc.

I applied. But I doubt I'll have any chance. Just thought "Meh, if someone is going to do it, and there isn't many people applying, why not apply myself"

You didn't read it did you. I'd apply but i know I wont get it.

I'm totes pleased with my application. I was joking a bit to start off with, but then as I got on and thought more about the position, I actually got excited However, re-reading it I also think it would be an educational experience helping me to actually learn what words really mean and proper context. It's a win-win situation. However, the likelihood of it being me is extremely unlikely.

I don't think we need a manager who is carefree.
