When really sad and depressed about something your appetite usually changes. If I'm really upset I cannot eat a thing, however for some people, eating helps them wit their problems. So, what do you do when you're depressed?

When I'm stressed/depressed/sad/etc. I work out.

I go both ways. It really depends. When my mom just left for two weeks or so to stay with my aunt, I just dropped down to 1 small meal per day. Otherwise, my appetite doesn't really change. Well, basically... if I'm upset, I'll eat if someone gives me food. If I'm upset, and there's no food, I won't take the initiative to make it or get it.

for me, if i'm slightly upset, i start craving a lot of sugar and stuff. but when i'm really depressed, i just can't eat anything. for me it depends on the degree/reason for being depressed.

When I am depressed I eat nothing. When I am stressed, or my nerves are bad, I eat everything.
