I asked him if he wanted me to come, and he told me all his family was gonna be there, and I know how that would be [no, I don't, but ok]. So I told him I guess not then... and he says I just saved you from a weekend of hell... I don't know... I just feel like he didn't want me to come... I don't understand why. I am nice to his family, care about him a lot [I actually love him], and would do anything for him. Maybe I'm just worrying to worry... maybe he just didn't want me to meet the rest of his family. I don't know... what do you guys think? I kinda feel like I might have scared him off by telling him I love him a while back and he doesn't want to hang out with me anymore... but yeah, let me know what ya think. Having someone say that sometimes makes people feel a little scared for some reason at first. I guess you'll have to wait and see. -- Posted by Avenue D at 8:53 am on July 4, 2008 I don't think it's like he doesn't love you or anything.  Maybe his family is dysfunctional and going out camping overnight would end up in a shitstorm and both your friend will have a horrible time.  "I just saved you from a weekend of hell," kind of indicates that I'm probably right.
