Basically, What a Defrag does is organise everything in your pc and makes it more methodical for the processor and the HDD itself to find. Imagine a game of tetris, With blocks randomly placed everywhere. Theres gunna be gaps, But if you sort them all out, Theres no gaps, And probably a lot more space.
