OK, let's say you are a male camp counselor or sometihng....If one girl in your group (like 12) got her first period and told you, what would you reaction be?

Like what would you Think and what would you then SAy?  Would u feel bad for her at all?

I'd comfort her and then refer to a fellow female staff member for more assistance.

-- Posted by jmh7 at 3:33 pm on July 4, 2008

that would be really awkward , im not sure

I'm not a guy, so I don't know if this would count, but if I were a guy I would go get a girl councilor who is really nice to help her out

Well, I dont know why in the world the girl told a GUY.....

you should remain calm and understanding. tell her its ok and its normal, then take her to a woman let the lady take it from there.

No, I'd tell her if she doesn't have anything to take care of it, go to the nurses station or something and have them help her.

Don't be an idiot, go to a female counselor.

-- Posted by lmc11591 at 3:34 pm on July 4, 2008

send her to the nurse or whatever.

-- Posted by tiara at 3:35 pm on July 4, 2008

Say its totally normal.  It happens to everygirl.  Well she'll need pads or tampons and since its her first pads would be more suitable and she should prob wear two at night to stop leakage.  If you're allowed to give panadol do cos she'll have belly pains.  But it would be much better for a woman to talk to her

-- Posted by HxcCodie at 3:35 pm on July 4, 2008

send her to someone

-- Posted by Natsy at 3:36 pm on July 4, 2008

why would you feel bad for her? :S

-- Posted by AngelFxxk at 3:36 pm on July 4, 2008

No.
I grew up with three sisters soo..
I would ask her how she felt, make sure shes not weirded out or anything and send her to a girl counselor.

-- Posted by Aixi at 3:36 pm on July 4, 2008

Just send her to the nurse.

I would be like  "EW gross! get  away from me!!!"
And then run  away.

bahaha  jk.
I used to be a camp counselor   and that DID happen to me, I had a group of guys and girls, but 90% was full of girls(Kinda annoying, but whatever)and then one girl told me she had her period. So i went to go get the girl counselor. that's it

It would be very awkward for a guy but not unless she tells me for the sake of telling and is not seeking advise at all, well, good for her.  Now, she's a woman.
