Any long time member of this site has something to complain about... So list it here. Anything that bugs you about the site.

- Ehelp System need's to be revamped.
- Max Life for Moderator's needs to be implemented.
- Spam need's to be cracked down on...
- Website Load times can sometimes be extremely slow, even during non-peak times.

There are many more, but I leave it to you to list the things that annoy you most.

Petty obnoxious mods.

-- Posted by osmoticdespair at 11:16 pm on July 4, 2008

I've nothing to complain about. I have low expectations of online teen forums and they have been met.

sticky for TA&SA is absolutely terrible and needs a complete overhaul

-- Posted by RockerTori106 at 11:17 pm on July 4, 2008

Mods that make huge deals out of stupid things and the people who overdo the drama. Like the people who are all "I like this boy and he doesn't like me back. I want to kill myself" who aren't even suicidal and don't have a real serious problem like that.

-- Posted by californication at 11:17 pm on July 4, 2008

People messaging me that I am stupid for my views.
ie. people making up illnesses for themselves to feel better, or to sound more interesting.

-- Posted by Justinc08 at 11:18 pm on July 4, 2008

Mods that delete topics for bull shit reasons when the topic was completely relevant.

I know this was rude, but a mod totally flipped on me for saying this.
This one black guy on here was upset that people on the street kept calling him a 'nigger' and I said to him "Don't be hatin', nigger". And a mod wrote up this whole paragraph why that was wrong and where my morals should stand and everything. It was kind of funny, actually.

Although the problem may not seem as severe to you, but it is viewed in a totally different light by the person feeling this way.  You cannot judge the severity of an issue if it's not happening to you.  A small problem for you can be considered a very big problem for someone else.  It depends on experiences in your life and how you learn to cope with negative situations.

Damn noobs with their random messages -.-...

There is my complaint =/... and that mods don't actually help a lot of people out =[... (i know that's why support leaders are there, but most mods ARE support leaders)

Most complaints in this thread could be solved disallowing teenagers entry. I propose this be implemented post-haste!

Requiring a one time charge of $1.00 on the user's credit card would massively cut the number of teens on this site.

Because that's really productive.

They just seem a bit, picky?

What's this supposed "Max Life for Moderator's" all about?

Anyway, with regards to the cracking down on spam, we can't win with that, we are both too strict and not strict enough, simultaneously. At least according to the criticism we get on here.

It would be easy for the moderator's, as a team to crack down heavily on spam. It wouldn't take much at all.

Max Life/End Life: Maximum time a moderator may remain in their position of power. This would prevent many of the complications we have today. It's not worth fighting though, the professional will continue to act as if there isn't a problem.

Easy to crack down? Yes, but cracking down runs the risk of a flood of members leaving and makes the complaining worse, numerous people already tell us we are too strict, here you are telling us that we are not strict enough. Who do we listen to?

As for The Professional, I see no problem with his behaviour on here, but then other people could be seeing something that I am not, I don't suppose someone could spell it out with crystal clarity exactly what he does that people dislike so much?

Also, one line "suggestions" are useless, post the entire idea from start to finish, with justifications and any holes you can see in the idea. "Ehelp System need's to be revamped. "? How, why, how do you propose implementing what changes to it?

Particularly provide a reason for demoting moderators after X amount of time, I can see no use for it.

Or do you not actually have any ideas, are you posting this topic for some other reason?

A mass flood of spammer/trolls leaving, yes. If you haven't noticed, we've had a mass flood of noteworthy member's leaving.

As for The Professional, I see no problem with his behaviour on here, but then other people could be seeing something that I am not, I don't suppose someone could spell it out with crystal clarity exactly what he does that people dislike so much?

It's the fact that every time you bring up something that he does not agree with, he talks down to the other members, as if we are lesser beings. When I try to remain civil, he also has the tendency to be rather rude and nasty.

The professional is not the only moderator like this, and I have more issues with the moderation team that are pointless to discuss.

Also, one line "suggestions" are useless, post the entire idea from start to finish, with justifications and any holes you can see in the idea. "Ehelp System need's to be revamped. "? How, why, how do you propose implementing what changes to it?

Ehelp should be just that. Emergency help. It's sad that many of the topics that are submitted as ehelp's cannot be placed in the forums. When member's discuss such topics in the forums, support is non-existant. Ehelp is currently the only support aspect of this website.

I also believe that the requirements for support leader's be made much higher. It is not hard to become a support leader. Support leader's should be role model's, and they should be required to fulfill their duties. Just as moderator's are. Setting these requirements could easily be motivation for support leader's in order to maintain their status.

There are many more reasons as to why i've resigned the support leader position.

Particularly provide a reason for demoting moderators after X amount of time, I can see no use for it.

There is no point, as this is something david would have to implement. It's obvious he has become overwhelmed by the site and because of that does not seem to care much of what is going on around the site. He should seriously consider additional admin's. However as I said, it's pointless to discuss such things with the moderator's.

This is very true.  You are complaining that the Moderators need to be more strict in regards to people spamming.  However, if you take a look at some of the responses in this topic you will notice that many people think that the Moderators are being too strict in regards to spam.  As you can see, the Moderators will never satisfy everyone with this issue and therefore the situation should be left up to the discretion of the Moderator to determine whether it's spam or not.

- Ehelp System need's to be revamped. What needs improving? Say that and you might get somewhere, rather than just calling for change.
- Max Life for Moderator's needs to be implemented. Why?
- Spam need's to be cracked down on... Do your bit and report it.
- Website Load times can sometimes be extremely slow, even during non-peak times. Personally, I've never had a problem, apart from during updates
