I was at this job interview for a grocery store. When it was time for me to ask questions, I asked if they had any special projects planned for the future. They told me No because we're only one store. They have no branches...

I knew they were only one store, but didn't know there had to be more than one of them to have a project. Could this prevent me from getting the job?

I don't think so. It's not like you would really know that.

Aw. No way! Dont worry about it

No. It is a perfectly good question, and if they invite you to ask questions then you are allowed to ask whatever you want.

I don't think it will hurt you. It actually shows that you are looking into the activities of the company, something most employers appreciate.

mm shouldnt do. they would have to be dicks if they didn't hire you cause of that

I don't understand why you think that would prevent them from hiring you. It sounds like a perfectly reasonable question to me.
