-- Posted by quiteanart at 9:17 pm on July 6, 2008 ok.. so I was browsing around and I found a site, called you-areblocked.com. And I wanted to see who had blocked me. Well, I was being a dumbass and entered my msn addy and password... then it changed my msn display name on messenger (which I fixed) and there really is no problem with anything except... it won't let me on my msn hotmail account. Everytime I try to go to the login page, the address bar keeps acting funny, and when it does get there, it says that there is a problem, and windows cannot sign me in at this time. So I went to my mum's computer and managed to change my password on it. Everything looked fine when  logged in.... I did research and found out it's a 'phishing" site.. everything else is fine, my comp isn't beng buggy, but I want to get into my email on this comp, not my mum's. what should I do? x.X please help i'm on mac btw -- Posted by blufindr at 9:18 pm on July 6, 2008 change your password. and slap yourself for not doing more research before giving away your password. -- Posted by kt66166 at 9:18 pm on July 6, 2008 i hate that virus! -- Posted by CaliKevin at 9:18 pm on July 6, 2008 Just change your password.  Go to the Forgot Password link wherever you sign in and have them email you a new password. Then you need to scan and see if you can delete the virus. Then you need to change your password for your msn screenname. Try http://login.live.com If that doesn't work then your computer likely has malware or some file has been modified to redirect you off the real site. Download and run Ad-Aware and a good virus scanner (like NOD32, from thepiratebay.org), and make sure that your hosts file in %systemdrive%/windows/system32/drivers/etc/ has nothing after "127.0.0.1 localhost" line.
