My bff and i are a lot alike.  From our personallities to our phycical appearance.  Well we are both big girls, (we both weigh 167 pounds) oddly..we both work out and eat healthy...she always compares herself to other walking tooth picks..she was never like that before...she was always fun and carefree. and that helped me through life with her...but she is now obssessing over her weight and she is diet this and diet that..now she is jus getting on my nerves and i want to do something about it before it gets to a point where she won't eat.  (she is eating 1 small meal a day.)and she is no fun.  Where did my fun loving friend go??  I feel so stuck...i want to tell but i feel like i am making a big deal out of nothing and i am agraid to talk to her about it...UHHH i need emotional support....should i talk to her????  and how should i do so??

Tell her that eating too little will make her fatter, that way she at least won't be phisicly ill.  Every time she says somthng like that tell her how hot she looks five minutes later.

I understand that you're frustrated with her right now, but all she needs is for you to be more supportive.  Do your best to see her beauty and the fact that she doesn't need to lose weight/can in a much healthier way....help her as much as you can before she develops an eating disorder

I don't know if you read magazines or not, but the latest issue that just came out of Seventeen Magazine (it has this girl from the Gossip Girl series that's gonna be on tv I guess haha, she's blonde) anyway..it has a good article in it on eating disorders. It's all about signs of an eating disorder starting up and girls not noticing that their habits are linked to EDs. So, go get the magazine, it's $3, and read it when you guys hangout, and then come across it and say "you should read this, it's really good and shocking" maybe even make up a story how it upsets you because someone you know does some of the things it describes. (a friend or relative that she doesn't know, give a name so she doesn't get offended thinking you think it's you) I hope that I help you out, I'm not saying your friend has an ED but it will just help her from getting too into the dieting. Dieting is healthy if you do it the right way. Also I know what you mean about being no fun, I realize when I fast and don't eat much that I'm just in a blank mood and don't want to do anything. Message me if you need anything<3
