for the past couple months, i've been extremely stressed. It happened when i was rejected into university, i've been so sad from that and constantly wondering now what am i gonna do with my life. Now it seems like every little thing triggers me off i either get frustrated and angry or i cry and its not fair to the people around me because they didn't do anything wrong for me to fly off the handle. i talked to my doctor andhe said i'm stressed emotionally, and it will reside, but i was just curious if anybody had any kind of techniques to help with stress so i can ease it down a bit and feel better.

Perhaps take up a class of something you might like, whether it be karate or whatever just to get your mind off things, go for a walk during the day or just maybe plan a mini vacation if you can, just to get out for a little bit.

I just relieved some stress by going and seeing my boyfriend for a week. I am easily stressed, and I haven't been this relaxed in years. That vacation was the best thing I could have done to help myself feel better. Try anything relaxing. It really helps. And don't stress over the University. Try another. Maybe you should take a semester off?

just be sure to take some time for yourself. write down your feelings and anything else going on, and find some kind of activity that helps you relax, like drawing or singing.
