a shitty catch-all phrase used by the moderators as a half assed reason when they dont like your post and want to trash it for no real reason

this reason should be removed, though. too vague

Did you just notice that?  I thought everyone knew.

I agree. The mods are stupid

-- Posted by Energizer Bunny at 12:36 pm on July 7, 2008

Which mod did it?

-- Posted by greeneyedone at 12:36 pm on July 7, 2008

Usually it is not mods that delete posts, support leaders delete posts, mods delete entire topics.

-- Posted by BodomChick at 12:37 pm on July 7, 2008

i've never noticed that!

-- Posted by Ethryx at 12:37 pm on July 7, 2008

I believe thats just one of the options they can choose for why they are deleting a thread.

-- Posted by iconoclast at 12:37 pm on July 7, 2008

Yeah other than that, yeah, they do whatever they want.

Quit bitching, you're only pissed because you do it all the time.

-- Posted by iconoclast at 12:39 pm on July 7, 2008

why would i care about attention

-- Posted by the raven at 12:42 pm on July 7, 2008

Some posts and threads are obviously just there to seek attention. Some members, even, are only here to seek attention. There's no reason to take it off the list. With all of the other reasons on the list, attention-seeking isn't too vague.

-- Posted by iconoclast at 12:42 pm on July 7, 2008

it is extremely vague any post, especially a joke post, a fun post, or something like that, can be branded with the catch all attention seeking bullshit

Why even create a topic and then say that?

-- Posted by iconoclast at 12:31 am on July 8, 2008

no its just that the reason is bullshit

Well, replies.

But yeah, when voting to delete a reply, there's no option for "Attention Seeking." We're actually not allowed to delete for this reason.
