He seems kind of insecure in a cute overcompensating way.

It is for real. TheAmazingAtheist did a video series debunking it.

What an ignorant idiot! Hypocrite!
He says evolution can't be real because it hasn't been observed. But the creationist theory hasn't been observed either. And evolution is actually backed up by research and evidence, not just what an old book (Bible) says.
Age of the Earth? He says modern people believe it's billions of years old because they've been taught that. Well, scientists actually have evidence to support this. At least from carbon dating we know it's sure as hell older than 10,000 years. The people in the past believed it was that old because they didn't use modern scientific methods, or any scientific methods! They were the ones who were taught to believe that the Earth is young!
The origin of the universe? He thinks the Big Bang theory is wrong because it say the universe came from an infinitessimally small point. But he must not have ever really looked into this, because it completely makes sense if you apply it to M Theory.
You can live life and question things. IMO I think that by just accepting what you are told is kinda stupid.
Reason is self negating. You have to accept something. Once you accept something its a matter of making everything agree with that something.
Questioning everything leads to faddishness and superficiality (because you never accept anything long enough to delve deeply into its implications).

All attacks against reason are self-refuting, since it requires that the position that it is reasonable to deny reasonableness. Pointing out self-refuting statements presupposes reason, so you are just declaring your own argument false.
Foundationalism and basic beliefs are compatible with reason.

This guys just fails.

Foundationalism and basic beliefs are compatible with reason.
It is not reasonable to presume that reason is capable of discerning truth. Such a presumption is a perfectly valid belief, but its does not pertain to reason.

So you think that you have reached a reasonable conclusion? If so, you are contradicting yourself. If not, why should I bother listening to you if you admit that you are unreasonable?

why should I bother listening to you if you admit that you are unreasonable?
Why listen to me anyway if all you have to go on is reason and nothing else you will never get further than chasing your own tail.
So you cannot answer my question? I'll accept that as your concession.
Here is an analogy to your argument: Jo: Tim said that we should believe everything in Tim's book 'how to give all your money to Tim'. Moridin: But wait, it also says in that book that Tim is lying to you so that you will want to give him money and that he is laughing in your face hahaha. Jo: Either you accept that the book is true because Tim says so in the book or you accept the book is true because the book happens to admit it is all lies. Either way the book is true! HAHA Moridin. You believe Tim too. Either that or you are mad and just contradicting yourself.

What an intelligent non-argument. Reason is axiomatically justified.

Another reason how and why mass conversion or instruction fails miserably when both the teacher and audience fail to see the point of the lecture, itself.
Arrogant? Yes. Condescending? Yes. Dry? Very sarcastic, which tries to entertain rather than inform.
Would I watch them again? No, I'd rather waste my time doing something else.

My god if evolution is satan's, then REASON and RATIONALITY is satan's. You want to bet some morons out there think reason and rationality were satan's tools to fool you all along?
