is it bad that I'm nice to every one. I mean I don't do anything mean to any one and those same people are still jerks. So I guess my question is is it worth it being nice to everyone all the time?

You need to learn to be assertive and stand up for yourself, when needs be. That doesn't mean to say you will be considered an unkind individual, but you need to respect yourself.
For tips on developing some assertiveness techniques, visit this  and this website.
