-- Posted by Seidell at 8:52 pm on July 9, 2008 I bought a new laptop today, well it was on the shelf and was the last one, so the guy at the store gave me a great deal on it and I decided to buy it. It's an HP Pavilion tx2000 Tablet PC, http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=4186       Of course, it was a display model so the people at the place had fooled with it, as well as customers that played with it. I took it home, cleaned it up really well with computer wipes. I reformatted it back to factory condition, and it started up just as if nobody ever opened it out of the box. I like it so far, I am not used to a small keyboard because my other laptop is a 17 1/2'' screen and this one is 12.5'' screen, and I am always trying to hit keys that aren't there bc I am used to a bigger keyboard. I might take it back, I don't know, I have 15 days to decide, I just bought it because school is coming up and it folds into a tablet to write on. Does anyone else have this laptop? If so, how do you like it? Pro's, con's? Thanks. -- Posted by andrewcool at 9:00 pm on July 9, 2008 A tablet pc, might be great for going to school, plus it was cheap so you will not really be at a lose. -- Posted by dragonking at 9:25 pm on July 21, 2008 I don't have one but don't think it's good.  Using pen/pencil and paper for school is fine (except for papers).  Also you'd have to pay close attention to it to make sure no one steals it. -- Posted by Byble at 3:21 am on July 26, 2008 Well they can come in useful for like writing down notes etc! and you should get used to the keyboard after a while.. but it really depends if you want to keep it or not. Well you have 15 days to decide to like if you want to search for other laptops which may have a bigger keyboard or something.. which are like practically the same price with same type of processor etc.. which will probably be unlikely seen as you got that one cheap.. hmm.. i don't really know what to suggest.. have a play around with it see if you like it and can get used to the keyboard. -- Posted by Seidell at 8:35 pm on July 26, 2008 Oh I took it back several days ago, I did not like it at all.
