I plan to enter a junior college, not because I can't get into a four year college, but because I want to get several certificates as well as my general education requirements out of the way. I'll start by enter said junior college as a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) major and then get my certificit after a year. I'll then get a second certificate in YC (Youth Counseling), finish up my general education requirements and transfer to a 4 year school as a junior with a major in philosophy and a minor in global government. After getting my B.A. in philosophy I'll take my LSAT and enroll into the best law school I can get a JD/MSW (Juris Doctorate and Masters of Social Work) in. I'll specialize in child welfare law and from there on I'll focus on helping children. It's nice to have goals so I know what to focus on.

I have a plan too. Don't know if it will work out, but it's good to be ambitious.

Global government is a pretty specific minor, which suggests that you have a particular four-year institution in mind for your BA. While it is good to have a top choice, expecting admission to it is unwise. Once you're at the college level, you'll need to cast a wide transfer net for success.

The minor is first choice as I'm interested in comparing governments and how we can learn from the mistakes of others. It is a rather common minor/major in liberal arts colleges. I don't think I'll have trouble finding it. Thank you anyway, friend.
