-- Posted by Anonymous at 6:48 pm on July 15, 2008 By "engage in", I mean things like sending Facebook messages, increased attention in group settings, proposals to have friendly lunches, etc. I just know that as a guy, if there's a girl I like, then I tend to "play it cool" (almost to a fault) so that I don't seem too creepy. So if you're a girl and I never write on your wall or randomly text you or even sometimes avoid eye contact in a crowded room, it probably means that I like you and I don't want to blow it. So having bad experiences with this, will make a person not want to engage in further contact with someone i might like. But things have changed since then, and i have started to not care what the out come is and if ur rejected, your rejected. One less person you have to worry about.
