yeah... can't believe I've actually stooped to the level of having to make one of these =0/

My boyfriend came home from overseas 2-3 weeks ago. We had sex (PROTECTED), but the condom broke. We immediately went for Plan-B, but the pill has apparently failed me.

I thought I got my period today, and I was so excited. When I checked my birth control pack (thats right I'm on BC too, and used Plan-B), I realized I'm only supposed to get my period at the end of next week. I looked it up online and apparently it may be "implantation bleeding," and it happens 2-3 weeks after fertilization.

So, on to my question. Other than, Implantation Bleeding, are there any other immediate signs of pregnancy?

I'm going to take a pregnancy test next week (they say the 4th week in the best) so then I'll know 100%. I just find it very likely that I am.

and I couldn't have possibly had any safer sex. =0/

Wow that is really lame since you went out of your way to not get pregnant, i'm sorry.

If you take the pill as directed and took plan B, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant.

u can have spontanios bleeding called spotting sometimes when on bc...  ur prolly not prego....

You're right, it might be implantation bleeding.  However, it could also just be spotting since you said you are on BC and you took EC.  Sometimes for me, when those things mix, I just bleed for a few days.  I'm not sure if it counts as a period or not.

It's possible that your random bleeding/spotting is due to Plan B, keep that in mind as well. But a pregnancy test does sound like a good idea, since you really do seem to be freaking out about it (even though I, personally, wouldn't, but that's me).

eeh I'm not really freaking out. If I was a youngin' I would be. But I know what I have to do, I have a stable job, and a stable relationship.

It just seems that if someone weren't freaking out then they wouldn't go through such lengths to explain what precautions they took, and to even ask this question on LiveWire (since they would probably be looking it up themselves and not need outside consolation). My mistake I suppose.

I did look it up myself. I wasn't satisfied with the results so I came here.

if you have a stable job and relationship it sounds good, depends on your age if your a good age then this might be a sign, your breasts get bigger when you get pregnant but im not sure when those sighs occur, your hi wire moody too, you seem fine and i dont think so but go with your plan and take a pregnacy test. You got it all planned so i wouldnt worrie love.
