I am currently with AOL. I think its £18 a month and the 2mb max speed is a bit slow for watching my live football games streaming.

What service providers can you recommend for me? Please bare in mind the price and bandwidth allocation (I leave my PC on most days downloading stuff). :)

Go with Virgin, they're cable, fast, reliable. Tiscali use BT's lines, so when BT's service is slowing they take Tiscali's broadband which can be shitty. Virgin have their own lines and own servers so it's fast, reliable and they're generally just a good service provider.

BT are soon to be upgrading the entire UK to fiber optic.. 100MBPS BIATCH!

If your looking for the cheapest go to O2 .. if your a customer it can cost like £7.50 / month!
