K, I think I'm pregnant.
I'm 16, recently, and my boyfriend's turning 17 in October.
If I am pregnant, here are my options:
-Adoption: I'm not even considering handing my child over to a stranger.
-Abortion: May not even be a choice. I don't have the money, or sufficient reason to have one. It's not as if it'll be legal anyway, since I won't be severely impacted by the pregnancy or birth.
-Giving myself a miscarriage: I'd do this, but I don't know how.
-Keeping the baby: My parents would kill me. And I don't want to be financially reliant on his family to provide for my private-school education (I go to the same school as their children, and even with a scholarship it's 10k a year), on top of the costs of a child.
-Suicide: Looking better and better every minute.

I realise that I might not even be pregnant. But if I am, what should I do?

So really the options are just Miscarriage or Keep the baby because all of the others are illegal / undesirable.

Alright, I had a pregnancy scare about a month ago, and my boyfriend works in a hospital. He was talking to a doctor about it and she said that I could induce a miscarriage by taking the morning after pill then a months worth of birth control.

I do not know if this works. I do not know anyone who has done this. I have not read about this anywhere, but the advice did come from a legitimate doctor who has apparently done this before.

What, all at once?
I don't know if I can get the Pill without my dad finding out. He's a doctor as well.

Oh Jesus Christ no, you can't take all those hormones like that at once. You take the morning after pill, then the next day start on a month's regimen of birth control.
Do you have any clinics you can hit up? If you go to any doctor that isn't in the practice your father is, and pay in cash, there is absolutely no [ethical] way he can find out about it.

Do you have any idea if that'll work? Side effects, way I know if it's not working, etc?

I personally don't know the specifics or anything, especially since I don't take birth control I don't know anything about the hormones. However, I do know that the hormones contained in the pills are specifically targeted to terminate any type of conception, and apparently if you take the morning after pill and a months worth of BC it will terminate any pregnancy.
I suspect you would only have to worry about typical morning-after pill and BC side effects, weight gain/loss, changes in skin, general flu-like symptoms, high blood pressure, spotting, messing up your cycle, and more serious and rare things like heart attack, blood clots, stroke, jaundice. Basically the typical warning label, with the exception of messing up periods.
I have no idea whether or not you would be able to tell if it is working. I mean, eventually you would miscarriage, but before that, I honestly don't know. Worth a shot, though.

Ohkay, I'm going to try this if the test comes up positive. Thankyou so much!

If you are positive I hope it works out!
