My friend said he was looking for a "strictly platonic" relationship and if I had a friend who might be interested to tell him. What does this mean?

Just friends.

I guess nothing serious.

I think it means that if you know any girls who would be interested in a strictly "friend" relationship with a guy, to let him know. Kind of weird.

Completely friendly. No romantic connections or anything at all..just like you would treat your best friend.

He wants an intimate and affectionate but not sexual relationship.

A platonic relationship is a relationship without anything sexual. So basically, he wants a friend, and someone that doesn't expect or want anything more than that.

Platonic, means no sexual contact.
