-- Posted by Wolferz at 3:25 pm on July 23, 2008 Given that you are a college student,please pretend the following situation has happened to you: U are home for the summer, but go to college in the fall.  You are an upperclassmen and have good friends at college.  When you get back to school, you notice that friends are saying things like "O yea, remember when you told me that online before?"....about someting you have NO recollection of. You ask further and friends say they talked to you on a different screen name on AIM once or twice.  And you KNOW it was not your sn, you KNOW you did not say that, and you KNOW someone ELSE was online pretending to be you. You also hear that several other people in your friend group were also fooled the same way....others tried to be them instead of you, etc. and information is clashing/weird. What is your reaction?  What do you think? And do you do anything? If it was something that could potentially hurt my reputation, I would find out who it was and beat the shit out of them.
