depends where you live, but don't expect to get much more than minimum wage...
btw... working for walmart sucks so much ass!

Depends upon where you live.

Fail. Walmart was one of my better summer jobs. And it has good long term benefits. The people are friendly, too. They work around your open time, and they're always willing to negotiate.

i'm sure it would be fine for just a few months.
but you don't get benefits unless you work there full time for over six months. and they don't hire anyone full time so they don't have to pay out on benefits. they hire you thinking you're going to get so many hours, but then they cut those hours so you're barely getting anything.. then you have to put up with all the b.s. company policies... i worked there for two years while going to school... it was the worst job i've ever had. managers are all holier-than-thou, which is fine. but for a company which claims to care about people so much.. they sure do a good job of not giving a fuck...
but... i guess everyone has a different experience...

Oh, you get the benefits, even if only working part time.

They do hire full time. :S They HAVE to, legally. They don't cut your hours. At least, they didn't with me. They worked around my schedule, and when need be, worked with me. The policies aren't bullshit. They're no more exceeded than any other store/company policy. You go into a job, you expect a policy/contract. End of. I only worked at Walmart for a short time, but it's been one of THE best jobs. They do care about their people. Greatly so.
