Whats' your opinion on it, as a live cd and as a harddive install?

backtrack is a better liveCD... knoppix is useless as a harddrive install... and as a livecd to takes to long to load, slax is better

It's good, depending on your needs. You can try a live DVD version of Open SuSE.

DEPENDING on what he needs it for. DO you even know what 1/5 of the tools on BackTrack are for...
