I start college in a little over two weeks. And I'm completely unprepared. I don't even know how to begin to go about preparing for it. I dunno what to take, or buy, or pack or anything. Any useful websites, or advice?

Don't over pack. If you're living in a dorm, keep it simple. Take some school supplies (like notebooks, pens etc), bed clothes, shower things, your computer. Simple stuff like that. If you're living in an apartment, There are some things you'll need to buy extra. Like household stuff, (brooms, dishes, etc). Don't be overwhelmed, it's going to be fine and you're going to have a blast.

Here are some wonderful sites: http://www.ed.gov/pubs/Prepare/index.html http://www.collegeview.com/articles/CV/application/planning_ahead.html http://www.collegeview.com/prepare_for_college.html I, myself am preparing for college. I took College courses in HS, so I'm not sure to consider it my first year.

This is what I was told. Pick a day and as you go through your routine write down every single thing you use/do. Then you can compile a list of everything that is essential to make it through the day. At least that would get you the basics.
