I dont get it

-- Posted by skittybaby at 8:17 am on July 31, 2008

Kind of have to say i agree. But people get offended by this. But my opinion is yes, it's people hiding from the truth

i disagree.

Haha, this isnt serious is it? Disagree. If Faith is not wanting the truth, hope is the same. Hope and faith are the same thing, loosely.

I have faith Jimmy will pass the math test.
I have hopes that Jimmy will past the math test.

Seriously. Is this a completely useless way to debunk Religion?

Fail.

I think it's true to a certain point, most people will never accept it though.

-- Posted by Bonolove at 8:21 am on July 31, 2008

that's a disagreeable statement...

-- Posted by King Kong at 8:22 am on July 31, 2008

-- Posted by babiiflow at 8:23 am on July 31, 2008

I sort of agree.

I am meerly asking you to discuss the quote, I myself have nto told you wether I agree with it or not. I want to see your reactions. I want to prove nothing.

-- Posted by DolmayanSilveria at 8:28 am on July 31, 2008

Faith is essentially an adult-sized comfort blanket, so it's probably at least partially accurate.

-- Posted by The Stranger at 8:28 am on July 31, 2008

Faith is the way you believe what you think is true.

-- Posted by Forever Angel at 8:49 am on July 31, 2008

I disagree. The more 'truth' I find, the stronger my faith becomes.

I'd be curious to know the linguistic methodology you've used to derive this definition.

It was a quote form somebody. Not my work.
