I thought the whole article was a VERY interesting read but this quote was particularly striking.
"Trolling is basically Internet eugenics," he said, his voice pitching up like a jet engine on the runway. "I want everyone off the Internet. Bloggers are filth. They need to be destroyed. Blogging gives the illusion of participation to a bunch of retards. . . . We need to put these people in the oven!"
- The New York Times Before you post, I definitely recommend giving the article a brief read-through. These aren't your LW trolls that do stupid stuff; these are trolls that seriously want to break you down. Seriouz bisnez. Do you think these hardcore trolls are justified? Do you understand where they're coming from? Honestly, after reading the whole article, they seem like sociopaths. There's something wrong there and I can't believe they haven't been arrested yet.

It sounded like kids," remembers Mitchell's father, Mark Henderson, a 44-year-old I.T. executive. "They'd say, 'Hi, this is Mitchell, I'm at the cemetery.' 'Hi, I've got Mitchell's iPod.' 'Hi, I'm Mitchell's ghost, the front door is locked. Can you come down and let me in?' " He sighed. "It really got to my wife." The calls continued for a year and a half." That is really depressing. I can't imagine how they must have felt answering the phone and hearing that.

They have to do something with their lives.

Hell no they aren't justified. Where is it their right to decide that people no longer can blog and such on the internet? Those types of trolls can be very harmful and there is no justification to the harm they cause people.

Oh, I know! No doubt it was a foolish thing to commit suicide, but I can't believe these guys would have the audacity to berate a bunch of grieving parents about it.

lawl i love how that one dude's grandfather raped the shit out of him so now he feels the need to make other people feel like crap and then try to justify it. he's got issues that he needs to work out in a much mroe constructive manner. and the other guy is an ugly nerd that obviously had a horrible time all throughout his childhood and high school and the same applies to him.
