Pages: 1 2  Next -- Posted by Rickenbacker at 11:39 am on Aug. 2, 2008 I am from Baltimore and I visit there all of the time even though I live 45 minutes away in rural Pennsylvania. I think it has a lot of character despite being on of the most crime-ridden cities in the country. Their subs are really good and the Inner Harbor is pretty fun, but the coolest spot is near Hopkins University at the Baltimore Museum of Art. I also like to ride through the neighborhoods where my parents grew up which are places few tourists would go but nonetheless are cool because of the rowhomes and memories from when I was little and went to my grandparents rowhouse. Essex in The County, but my grandparents lived in Gardenville and Cedonia in the city so I spent alot of time there. Plus both of my parents grew up in Cedonia. As far as the city goes there are safer areas then other like most cities.
