Now I have non-athletic scholarships and grants, and my parents and I share the rest. My grandpa has given me college bonds every year as a birthday gift for 17 years. I've never been grateful til now. I'm applying for scholarships and I'll surely take out some student loans, but I'll get by. Many, and most, places, in this day and age, despite NEEDING workers, will NOT hire right of high school. Even if you have a GED, you're still at risk of being screwed in the job area. A college degree is almost a must. My parents paid for my college. You dopn't have to go to COLLEGE there are other things out there like the Military, Trade Schools, Apprenticeships. College is pretty much the only thing that will get you a decent job, though. Trade schools and apprenticeships are nice, but they're not what employers are looking for.
