I found something interesting online, and for those of you who like stargazing as much as I do (I hope there is at least one person on here....), you will appreciate this!

The program is called Stellarium and you can download, for free, at http://www.stellarium.org

-Make sure to set your timezone once you download it
-Set your coordinates accordingly for best results.

It's seriously amazing. It will show you where on your sky you can find any star, planet or constellation.

You will need to find your Earth coordinates. You can go to http://www.multimap.com and enter in your address and right click on the red circle over your address- then scroll down to the bottom right corner and it will give you your latitude and longitude coordinates.

This is a preview.

I've been playing with it all morning

Holy hell, that's awesome.
It doesn't require a net connection, does it?

Thanks ^^ I'm looking quite often to the skies at clear nights.. Wondering what kind of planets would be out there. Finding it amazing that someone - for example - in the US or in Asia is also looking at some stars I'm looking at

When you have the program up, on the bottom of the screen (to the left), just go to the configuration window and then click on location and date & time. Just make sure those two things are set to your location and it should be fine
