Would there have been a huge difference if people hadn't gone in and upgraded all those computers? Was Y2K a disaster narrowly avoided or a bunch of false propaganda? Discuss.

The End of the Mayan Calendar hasn't happened. So it can't be a statement without the words will be.

We had a 386 running Windows 3.1 here during the Y2k change, it blew up. Was a very big deal.

What really happened with Y2K? Nothing! No chaos, no anarchy, no martial law, no riots... I was highly disappointed Although I assumed nothing would've happend, anyone with a basic knowledge of how computers work knew there was nothing to worry about. I'm just glad I didn't go out and stock up on bottled water and canned good like those other idiots
