Why do black people have white palms and soles? No racist jokes about them standing on all fours whilst they were being spray painted please.

Haha never heard that one about the spray paint. Probably because the skin is thicker there, and melanin which colours the skin is usually darker on thinner skin. Rough areas like elbows, soles of feet, palms, knees, etc have thicker skin therefore less melanin.

I'm not sure if often wondered that myself. I think it might be because its like the toughest area of skin and they dont exactly sunbathe their palms and soles either do they.

Probably just have less pigment in those areas. But the spray paint thing is another option lol.
