A friend told me about a girlfriend and boyfriend couple he knows. He said that they are "always up each other's butts" and hopes he isn't stuck dealing with them all the time. He mentioned by getting a job it would help "get him [the boyfriend] outta his hair more".... What does that mean??? Is it implying they fight a lot OR they have sex a lot?

That they fight. Up until I read "stuck dealing with them", I thought it was about sex, though.

Whenever someone I know says someone is up someone else's butt it normally means that they just hang out with each other all the time. Anytime anyone sees them they are with each other, never alone.

It has nothing to do with them fighting. It has all to do with t hem spending all their time, with each other, and not leaving time open for Family and Friends.
