so ive got 2 120 GB hardrives. and the 1st one (drive C) is almost full. so my question is, how do i move things to the second harddrive (drive D)? i thought it would be nice if i had a whole drive just to my music, so that way the other drive would be empty enough for all my other apps and such. is there a way to move things like that? or what should i do?

you need to install the new hard drive, then transer the files onto it, no other way. Th enew hard drive will be exactly like the c drive in My computer :D just named something like F drive lol

if you wanna move some programs from C to D just go into program files on C and cut them into D and like.. when u install new stuff.. change where it saves.. change the C to D

Its easiest to put all of your music onto the spare hard drive, Literally drag and drop ALL of your music onto the new hard drive, organize it as you see fit. Then you can update your media library :). For WMP it might be simpler to just delete the whole library then scan the new hard drive for the music. (All the Tags will be there still (name for files) as they are stored onto the files).

Dragging and dropping does not work for program files, it works for files like movies of music. The operating system installed programs to Program Files and the computer configured it to work in that one place (although changing the location can be done if the target .exe in the shortcuts is altered).
