It is an Internet browser, but your explanation of why it is considered "better" than Internet Explorer is borderline epically bad. FireFox is a web browser set up by the Mozilla company.  They have a series of web browsers and internet related products, all of which can be found at their website (http://www.mozilla.com/) and offer a wide range of user customization tools as well as add-ons for enhanced web-browsing. Some of the benefits are depending on the add-ons and the customization you input, the browswer can appear to run faster, or be more organized to suit your needs. Some of the drawbacks of using FireFox are problems with add-ons, as well as compatability issues with certain programs that will only run on Internet Explorer.
