Does anybody have any experience with it? Good or bad? I guess I'm not too optimistic about it. And sorry I'm not making much sense. Tired and sick, not a good combination.

It was one of the best medications I have taken. It worked the fastest, and lasted the longest of all of my medications. I just went to a new medication about 3 months ago. But I loved Lexapro. I only went off of it because I build tolerance very quickly.

i'm on it and i have trouble sleeping but my anxiety is down

I took it once when my anxiety was really bad, and I was suicidal years ago. I went off about a few months through. It only gave you the chance to be happier, didn't necessarily work like magic.

if you are bipolar they have about 1% chance of working. antidepressants actually made me suicidal. watch out.

Been on it for... 2 years? Benifits: Slightly less suicidal. Cons: No sexual libido, anorgasmia, inability to consume alcohol

It helped my mom, but she gained weight on it.

It worked really well for a little while.

It did nothing for me. Granted I was later diagnosed bipolar and SSRI's often don't work or actually make bipolar disorder worse.

My mother just went on that recently after finding out that she had some emotional imbalances like depression. Our experience with it so far is slight nausea, and it sometimes makes her goofy... But that's kind of how she always is. I have seen an improvement in her personality and happiness since she started it, but I don't know exactly how she feels about it. I think mainly you just need to make sure that you have some food in your stomach before taking it, or very soon after. Otherwise it could make you nauseas and possibly throw up. And we all know that's not a lot of fun. Hope this helps, feel free to PM me if you have any other questions, or just want to talk.
