The only 2 i was interested in were the Met and Greater Manchester Police...turns out both require that you have lived in the UK for 3 years prior to applying. 3 years is an awful long time to me...and what would i be doing. The only police force ive found that doesnt require 3 years is the transport police, but i dont really want to join that, even as a stepping stone to the Met, because id hate to end up in some traonstation in the middle of nowhere, it would literally kill me. Even a tube station would be pretty bad. Is it....ok well the Northumbria and the Metropolitan police all get free public transport.
