It seems like a bad idea because of the short term memory, but you can sometimes think clearer and differently when high. So I am curious as to how effective it would be. I smoke very infrequently for the record and decided to see if I could grasp very abstract mathematical concepts while studying for a test under the influence. Granted I studied just as much sober but I also studied at the peak of intoxication. I was actually able to piece together the subtle abstract structure of the material better. In turn I got the third best grade on the test since I actually grasped the material. I'll never do it again- it was just an experiment. Hell, my friend took her Spanish regents while high as balls and scored 100. I write while high, draw, paint, take photographs, play the trumpet, guitar and bass. At times I think clearer and abstract concepts and ideas conceptualize and then make sense. But that's only when I'm in the mood to actually "enlighten" myself. Sometimes I  just goof off, and tell random stories and share weird experiences with others who I'm getting high with and just enjoy the fact we are indeed getting high. But then again it depends on the type of marijuana(indica or sativa) and the strain. Indica produces more of a body buzz, makes you feel calm, and the like, while sativa is more of a head high.
