I want to write a poem, but im having trouble getting started. any tips? i can't figure out what the first line could be.

well think of something you like or feel strongly about and write down loads of feelings about it and it should come x

Think of a topic and write down all the things to do with it, like snow:- white fluffy snowmen winter... something like that, then think of how you could rearrange the words into sentances that descibe how you feel about it (i hope that made sense)

a poam is an expression of how you feel. like any writting you don't have to have a beginng. just write how you feel and organise it later. sometimes in the mist of the middle you will find a good begining.

Write about a past experience, inspiration will come easier then

My tip would be do not write a poem until insipration comes to you. A poem that is inspired and a poem that is forced are on two different levels. If you have to write one or still choose to write one, try and just put headphones on, close your eyes and write. This should atleast get you started on a topic.
