I remember my biology teacher telling me that the nutrients have already entered your system by the time you can manage to throw it up.

yeah it does, buts its a long, slow and painful process...

-- Posted by xBeautifulTragedyx at 12:58 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

Yeah, it causes weight loss.

A little, but not much, really. Bulimics are usually of average weight.

its a very unhealthy way to lose weight, remember its alot of acid going up to your mouth

-- Posted by mudonthetires14 at 12:59 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

yah, but its stupid, just diet

-- Posted by Stand Up at 12:59 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

It makes you loose all of the nutrients and stuff that your stomach needs. Like the acids.. And irritates your throat and whole system. Don't be stupid.

-- Posted by FuckUnikka at 12:59 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

Agreed

Some of them may have, but doesn't most nutrient absorption actually happen in the small intestine? I may have made that up.

Either way, it would definitely have some effect, I believe.

-- Posted by LittleItaly at 1:03 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

yes, but it is unhealthy

-- Posted by AthenaRuth at 1:07 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

yeah but not as much as not eating at all. don't do it. you'll scar your trachea and finers if you use your fingers to make you puke.

-- Posted by W o n d e r l a n d at 7:31 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

depends on how soon you do it after you eat

-- Posted by Boondox at 8:06 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

just a little, not much
i was bulimic for about a year
but i stopped, and it was hard to stop
its unhealthy and it fucks up ur throat
.. and now my digestive system is all fucked up and i always have problems with my stomach
so i advise to not do it

-- Posted by Leah Louise at 10:46 pm on Aug. 19, 2008

Ok, right a normal persons stomach doesnt store food ok...
but a bulimics doesnt pass the food throught the digestiv system because its so use to comeing back up.
so therefore they loose weight
but some gain aswell
depends how long they have been bulimic.
