I'm having an all out financially bad day. First, I need new glasses so I went to sears to get them, and I thought they could just check my glasses for my perscription, but they can't so I had to drive 25 minutes to my doctor and they gave me my perscription. I drive back and give it to the lady, and she says it's 2 years since I've had an exam so I have to get a new one. So thats 250 bucks gone. Then my car insurance company calls me, I have progressive. They tell me that my insurance is canceled because they have the wrong mailing address. I know I gave them the right one and so I never got a letter I needed a friend to sign to authorize use of her credit card to pay my insurance. So I had 2 months non-payment. So thats 296 bucks. I'm so pissed. I know the glasses thing is just law, but damn the insurance company. I only made 256 bucks on my last paycheck and I've been hunting for a new job for 2 months so I will make more. I'm an on-call caregiver. Does progessive always screw ppl over? Can I fight it?
