There are many factors that can play along, right down to something like the temperature.  Some females may easily conceive, while others may not.  It depends on the couple. I know two people who were trying for quite some time and just couldn't get pregnant.  One still hasn't, and the other had a miscarriage.   (They were both over weight and are old enough) The one who had the miscarriage is actually a very good friend of mine and believes the same as I do. If it is meant to happen it will happen. Just try not stressing out so much about it.
